We are the appointed Covid 19 screener and cleaners appointed by the department of education, since 2020 May we have been earning 3000 since last year they deduct 30 for uif and our nett is 2970, we have families to feed, children to take care of and debts to pay, the government doesn't want to increase our salary let alone to permanent us instead they keep on hiring people on other different contracts with high salaries yet they fail to increase ours, honestly speaking the department is and has failed us.. Imagine if you are  a bread winner earning R2970 how many mouth will u feed and debts cover with such a little.. We plead for the department to hear our cries and concerns to do something with our salaries or tleast permanent us
