I would like to thank you for the PYEI programme, it is a great initiative and I’ve learnt a lot from it. Even though like every workplace hardships are always there, perseverance is the key aspect to it. 

It’s been great especially working with my mentor’s who were matric teacher’s, the lessons and guidance they gave me is always going to be within me till the ends of life. Being an educator assistant is a fun job and in the near future I would like to study teaching. 

 

I believe that this initiative should continue and those working currently to be made permanent and more people should be hired. Since the current one’s have been working in their respective schools already know the process and procedures of them, plus increasing the number of the PYEI would be an advantage reason being the unemployment percentage will drop and more youth will be employed. 

 

My great and honourable leader, I look up to you and see you as a father figure to me. We as the youth are the future of this country and if every youth were to be employed the change in the country will be amazing. So I humbly request that you make the current PYEI youth that’s employed to have a permanent position on the current initiative and also request you to employ around 45% of the youth to be added on the current PYEI’s. 

This initiative has helped me do more and wish to do more like run a literature program for schools around and would appreciate your help, I managed to get my dream job due to this initiative and will forever be grateful to it.
