I bought a 3 phased prepaid meter after two months our landlord gave us a quit notice. Now when we rented this apartment, we met a bill of 187,000 that was later factored into our prepaid meter and we are done with the payment now. We got a new apartment on the same street and EKEDC are now telling us to leave the prepaid meter for the landlord that it is attached to the compound and not my husband that bought it with his hard earned money. I want Nigerians to help sign this petition so that tenants that bought prepaid meter will be able to remove it and use it within the same coverage area as this is injustice on the side of the tenant. How on earth will I be the one to pay for what a landlord should have done when it is actually their primary assignment as the owner of a property. EKEDC is actually working against our fundamental human right. Nigerians please help
