Background

Our request to have Sweet Victory by David Eisley performed during the Superbowl LIII halftime show - a request which was supported, petitioned, and campaigned by 1.3 million people - was misused and we, those 1.3 million people, were used for ratings and to build up an audience for what would've been another boring Superbowl, which in hindsight was what actually happened. Those who picked up numerous hints and teasers about the possibility of having our anthem played at this year's Superbowl were instead victim to another teaser: a short five-second clip which didn't even include the song which was demanded. At the end of the day, we were swindled and the late Stephen Hillenburg spat upon with disrespect.

Solution

Now, we demand Sweet Victory be performed at Superbowl LIV. To make sure there is no confusion, we petition for the song to actually be played and performed by the next set of performers at Superbowl LIV instead of having a snippet of the iconic Band Geeks scene open up to a song that's anything but Sweet Victory.

Shame on Pepsi for organizing this and the NFL in addition to having robbed us of our petitioned demands and missed a perfect opportunity to advertise football to newer audiences; however, there's always another Superbowl and maybe they'll get it right.
