Our power goes out all the time - even with small storms. The tree trimmers have butchered our trees.

I loose power if there is a slight wind! Lost power yesterday at work in N. Bethesda for 2 hours and also half a day 2 weeks ago.....and there was no big storm!

just like metro, pepco needs to step it up and help out our seniors. that could be one of the reasons why some americans are in poverty.

I'm signing because the power goes out more than it does in 3rd world countries, because Pepco has cut by 50% the number of workers to service the lines since the mid-90s, even though there are many more people in the region, but it's executives take home millions. Less service to customers and more money for executives is not a good combination. And they'd better not raise rates to pay for the work they should have been doing for the past 20 years. It's simply outrageous.

I live in Washington D.C. and yes Pepco needs to be held more accountable!

Beacuse we need to invest in the future of the electrical grid. Its time to stop patchwork fixes after the fact. One way to grow is to re-invest the profits in the company looking forward to the future.

Storms are to be expected, but some neighborhoods loose power routinely. Rather than investing in infrastructure, PEPCO trims trees and spends money on advertising saying what a great job they are doing. It's time for local government to put the screws to PEPCO; their investors and corporate leadership ought to take a loss this year.
