Have you tried leaving the clutches of the Watchtower organisation, but are afraid of retribution? Or have you already done so, and have faced extreme shunning practice associated with the Jehovah's Witnesses? This organisation, governed by 8 men, are ruining the lives of thousands, if not millions of people around the globe.  This organisation has actually taken away/ breached many of your human rights, with the way they indoctrinate and use mind control tactics to their followers. In this modern society, this should not be acceptable. This is not showing the love that we are required to do. On top of that, If they were telling the truth 100%, then there would be no issues. But they are not. And that, along with their restrictive policies on how they view and treat others is nothing short of cruel and unloving.

Let me tell the story that I face right now.

My name is Amanda James. I started following the Jehovah's Witness religion in 2005.  I got baptised in 2012. For a very long long time, I have had a feeling that the Governing Body were not 100% truthful. Especially regarding their 'claim' that they are the 'spokespeople' or chosen channel used by Jehovah (God), and their subsequent dates of 607bce, 1914 and 1919. These dates are pivotal to their teachings. After some deep intense study the last month or so, I have came to realise with documented evidence, etc, that the Governing Body have manipulated and doctored their version of the bible 'New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures'. They have also manipulated facts and hidden teachings to suit their purpose. They have used Bible scriptures out of context to suit their 'doctrine and restrictive rules'. These strict rules only serve to 'keep people prisoners to their 'Cult' tactics or mind control.

I emailed my disassociation letter the other day to my Elders of my congregation, and as I type this, I have been advised that it will be announced at the local meeting on Thursday 12th May 2022. My friends have already 'shunned' me, and are no longer my friends. My husband has treated me with contempt for the last month or so, because after nearly 16 years of marriage, I am now not to be trusted. I have never gave him any reason to ever doubt my words ever. So now I find my marriage in jeopardy. His love for me is in question. All because of the mind control and brainwashing tactics these 8 men have instilled. They rewired peoples thinking with their mental control. They wreck families, wreck lives and mental health. I disassociated myself because I found out the lies and deceit. I wanted even just one person to be saved from this organsation, I wanted to get the message out there, whatever way I could, of their lies. I have only faced this hardship for over a month, and its heart breaking, so I can only imagine the pain that thousands if not millions of others feel. It needs to stop.

I'm sure a lot of people reading this will agree that their human rights have very much been violated. They are not allowed to leave this cult, without there being serious consequences to their lives. This is never advised to you when you 'join' this religion. And when you do learn the bible teachings, it is all about Jehovah and Jesus, as it should be, but slowly and insidiously, their importance is replaced by their Governing Body. And they claim you have free will to come and go as you please. No there is no free will, there is crushing consequences if you leave, so how is that free will I ask???

So I have opened this forum to get these people to be accountable for their actions or at least to change the damaging and reckless rules.. I am not an apostate, far from it. I don't hold any grudges to the millions of Jehovah's Witnesses, as I love all the brothers and sisters and will miss them. I have no issues with them. I will always remain loving unconditionally, like we should be. I HAVE A SERIOUS ISSUE WITH THE Governing Body with their deception and manipulation. Please sign this petition, to get this taken higher. To get the voices of these ex Jehovah's Witnesses heard, the Pimo's, the Pomo's, the drifters, the faders.........the people who are too scared to voice what they feel. THIS IS YOUR VOICE NOW. Please help bring these 8 men to justice. The Human rights of people are being ignored by this cult, and all for their selfish, power and greed over people. They are not GOD. NO MORE.
