Kommaghatta lake is a beautiful lake located on outskirts of Bengaluru West, near Nice Corridor between Mysore road and Magadi road. The lake habitats are Siberian Migratory birds and abundant fish. Hundreds of morning walkers, nature photographer s visit this lake everyday. How ever, off late, BDA has connected the main sevage lines directly into the lake from all the surrounding areas causing massive pollution, mass death of fish and foul smell in all the sorrounding areas leading to slow death of the lively lake. Our request to BDA is to arrange a sub line and divert the sevage water to the nearest main drain Vrishabhavathi which is less than 3 kms away from Kommaghatta lake, a cost effective and environmental friendly solution.
