The value of these buildings to the community - their purpose - is beyond commercial value and once lost is gone forever. That purpose and use must be maintained by suitable agreements and negotiations .

I've always been very local to these beautiful buildings for nearly 40 years. I drive past very regularly and there is nearly always a hive of activity at varying times of day. We cannot lose such a hub of the community

I believe St Michael's should be sold for the Community Asset value of the site and continue to be available to local people.

The building was bequeathed to the parish, for the benefit of the parishioners, the community as a whole, not for the church to make a profit from.

It is vitally important to the interests of the local community that these Community Halls can continue to benefit the local community as they have done so significantly in the past. It is difficult to imagine where all the different activities and events could be relocated, especially given the paucity of alternatives in the immediate area. These are vital centres for the local community and are used daily.

I support the Parish Council in its effort to purchase St Michael's Hall for Community use and to provide a vital neighbourhood centre.
