Children aren’t getting enough sleep because they’re choosing their own bedtime and they’re choosing the wrong time. It’s a parent’s job to set a bedtime so the child knows when it’s time to sleep. Elementary schoolers should go to sleep in the range of 7:00 - 8:00. Middle schoolers should go to sleep in the range of 8:30 - 9:00. High schoolers and above should go to sleep in the range of 8:45 - 10:00. Getting the right amount of sleep is crucial to good well-being. Not getting enough sleep can lead to grumpiness, fatigue, headaches, low attention, and just a total bad day. Sign this petition to change that.
