The Black and White Parody game about Pokémon 14 year franchise was created with the intention of teaching children that Pokémon are not for the use and abuse of humans.
The problem with this blood stained, drug filled, and overly violent parody is that it focuses only on the battle portion of this video game series. It completely ignores and even dismisses that this video game, anime, and card series has instead been teaching through it's game system of collecting and battling the exact lesson that Pokémon are not meant simply for battle, but instead trainers kindle a great friendship through the companionship with Pokémon who not only protects their trainers and themselves from the violent outdoors of the Pokémon world (IE random battles.) At the same time Pokémon trainers help to build the strength, viability, lifespan, and help to vent out their natural need to battle through a controlled infrastructure of battling (usually interrupted by radical organizations like Team Rocket or Team Plasma.) Even in it's first movie back in 1998-99, Mewtwo stated: "The human sacrificed himself, to save the Pokemon. I pitted them against each other, but not until they set aside their differences did I see the true power they all share deep inside. I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant; it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are. "
Ultimately it disenfranchises a childhood game that DOES teach love, respect, and compassion about creatures that are not human simply to press their own political agenda of scare tactics with violence and gore that is not only avoided, but is completely unacceptable in the Pokémon universe.
