Introduction: The Red and Green dot on food items indicate the use of Animal By-Products mandated by the Food Safety Authority, then the cosmetic and Makeup products which we use on a daily basis act as Food for our skin and hair and they need to highlight the use of Animal by-Products so the Consumers are aware and can make a conscious choice of the cosmetics products they use.

The majority of the Cosmetic-Makeup users.majority of Women in India are unaware of the tremendous amount of Animals By-Products used in their everyday Cosmetic products. These Mass-produced products manufactured by multi-national companies exploit animals at scale for their cheap by-products. 

Objective: This petition aims to bring attention to this issue by addressing it to the top Animal Welfare NGO's like PETA India and People for Animals India and with their assistance filing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) to make reforms and pass a law that makes it mandatory for Cosmetic Companies to mandatory display a Red Symbol on the packaging if any sort of animal by-product is used in the Cosmetic Product and green to indicate that no animal by-products are used.
