For decades, zoos have existed to educate humanity on animals from across the world. The unethical, abusive treatment of animals in captivity is not uncommon. Papanak Zoo is one of them. The animals seen there are in small, unclean enclosures. As well, the animals often appear in distress. In recent years, on two occasions animals have got out resulting in their death. This is unacceptable and they should be closed permanently. I ask the surrounding communities, animal advocates, etc to help shut down this zoo.
