It is an advice to government of Delhi NCT to start an online donation portal for the purpose of feeding stray dogs and other stray animals. During these tough days of lockdown, these animals are facing tough times too. Not getting food, eating road side garbage and eventually dying due to lack of care they need. Also, unhealthy or diseased animals are responsible for transmission of other animal related diseases which may harm other animals or humans also. It is my request to the people concerned to look into the matter and start an online portal where people who wish to donate can donate whatever amount and it must be under audit of a designated officer to avoid dislocation of funds.
As for this, various men including my father are involved in feeding dogs two times a day in and near Japenese park, Rohini since 2017, even in this tough time of pandemic. They almost daily face various hinderances by other public or even police officials present there. A government organisation will be something no one can easily object to.
