UPDATE #1 Scott is a good friend of mine, a credible filmmaker and more he just informed me of this follow the link for more information. But do not forget to sign our petition and share it to continue our fight for animals who don't have a voice. The premiere has been canceled as well as all press related outlets and everything including press for this film the probability of this film being shelved is very high as the investigation continues by not only the American Humane Society but peta as well. We did it our voices were it heard continue to fight this fight.

The representative from the American Humane Association who was on the set of "A Dog's Purpose" has been suspended after officials saw video of a terrorized dog on set.

TMZ posted the hard-to-watch video Wednesday morning, showing a German Shepherd that clearly did not want to swim in the turbulent waters, but was forced to do so by his handler.

The American Humane Association was on set and is responsible for enforcing safety guidelines for animal actors. The org is the body that validates that no animals are harmed in the making of a film.

The AHA tells TMZ, "We are placing the safety representative who was on the set on administrative leave immediately and are bringing in an independent third party to conduct an investigation into this matter."

Amblin Partners and Universal Pictures told TMZ, they have always been determined to foster the ethical treatment of actor animals and are investigating the matter.

DOGS are kind and loving companions and I will not see this film as I see how they're treating these poor dogs. This film doesn't deserve its prospected revenue as the way these handlers on set treated them with zero respect or love. See video for reference. This is only a clip. But it's all you need to see as a dog lover to avoid this film.

Instead  fight for animal rights and spend that movie ticket money to donate to your local shelters. Blankets. Food. Etc.
