Fighting for my Freedom

Fighting for my Freedom
My name is Brian Hubbard. In 2006 a crime was committed that left one man dead and another man injured. It was over drugs and money. In 2009 I was officially charged with this crime. I was convicted based on co defendants testimony whom all received plea deals to testify against me and that was the only evidence that convicted me. Since that time those same co defendants with the exception of one has come forward saying they lied to receive the deal that they received.
I’m on my way back to court with new evidence and also co defendants testimony in which I did not have before that proves I did not participate in the crime I was convicted for. I have done my best to take advantage of this time while incarcerated to better myself. I have received certificates for AA and parenting and I also have enrolled in college.
Even though I am trying to make the best of it, it has not been easy time. Recently in June of 2021, I was stabbed by my cell mate over 25 times, 2 of those stab wounds to my heart. I received life saving surgery and spent 2 weeks in the hospital recovering. Shortly after that in September I lost one of my daughters to a tragic incident. I am due to go back to court in March of this year. I am fighting for my freedom. I want nothing more than a chance to be free with my remaining kids and family. Would you please sign this petition?
