Plastic straws are one of the main reasons our environment is getting polluted. It may be just a small little thing but it takes hundred of years for it to decompose. They end up in a landfill or in our oceans which harms a lot of people and animals. These tiny little things are one of the main reasons why our sea animals get hurt, especially the turtles because eventually the plastic straws turn into microplastics and harms the health of a lot of sea animals and even land animals. This campaign is to encourage you and a lot of people to stop using plastic straws for us to slowly save our environment. This may be just a little step but it will be a good beggining for us to start saving mother earth. We are the ones who inhabitates this earth yet we are also the ones who slowly destroys it. That is why this is the time for us to bring back the clean and healthy environment we once had. If not now then when? if not us then who? Let us start to avoid using plastic straws and encourage people to use metal straws and paper straws as an altenative. Metal straws can be used more than once or it can be used for a long time. Paper straws will not take a long time to decompose. SO LET US STOP USING PLASTIC STRAWS NOW AND START PROTECTING OUR ENVIRONMENT!
