Problem
One of the proposed sites for the Rural Fire Service Station in Mulgoa is the Community Hall at Mulgoa Park on Littlefields Road. This will impact the residents in the immediate vicinity, devalue their properties, the curfew will be erased allowing noise, traffic and movement 24 hours a day including sirens and loud speakers. The residents of Littlefields Road and surrounding areas are strongly opposed to the siting of the Fire Station at this location.
Solution
Penrith City Council could build the same resource at Gow Park without impacting as many residents. There is also a small park near the current fire station which could be assumed for this purpose without devaluing further property.
