Stop HMO being built in family inhabited cul-de-sac: 12 people squeezed into 3 bed house !

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

All in Jervis Rd will be effected by this HMO

The parking in the road is poor at the best of times with local businesses and residence all needing spaces, with the potential of 12 - 14 new people squeezed into a 3 bed house (currently) with a car each the road would become massively contested.

The change of the buildings purpose will reduce the value of all homes around it, meaning that they could not recuperate the price payed, if they try to move when it becomes unbearable to live next to a HMO it will not be possible.

The prepossessed loft conversion will reduce / stop the natural light getting to my daughters bedroom.

The rear extension will reduce the light to my garden.

The rear extension will be an eye sore from my garden.

The noise from the extensive building work and the mass number of people will disturb my young families sleep and day to day lives.

The structural changes to my house will reduce the life of the house.

I have just spent thousands on resurfacing my garden with artificial grass, which with the rendering will be ruined, putting me massively out of pocket.

The neighbour on the other side will be even more effected, she will have massively reduced light in her garden and will not be able to cope with the anti social behaviour that goes hand in hand with HMO's

Please Help !
