David Lockhart started this petition to Pennsylvania and

This petition is to abolish all toll roads in the state of Pennsylvania. There are 5 toll roads in the state of Pennsylvania. The objective of a toll road is people who use the road pay It off until it is fully paid off. What the government fails to realize is AFTER it is paid off it is still used to rob us off our money. In the U.S. 1) Everyone lawfully within the territory of a State shall, within that territory, have the right to liberty of movement and freedom to choose his residence. (2) Everyone shall be free to leave any country, including his own. So what that means is you have the freedom to move without paying a fee each time you use a road. The reason for a toll road is to improve the roads but the roads are not improving. For example, I476 always seems to be having construction. Certain parts of it seem to be bumpy no matter what. Going from the Ohio connection to the Poconos is around $70 for a normal car. If someone has work and takes the PA Turnpike from Valley Forge to Reading it costs $7.10 one way. So each day that is $14.20. Each year that is $5,183 PER YEAR. Think about what else you can buy with all that money.

What I am proposing is we get rid of toll roads, because other highways like US Route 202, US Route 322, and I 476. All the non toll road roads are in good condition so get rid of the toll roads and let fellow Pennsylvanians save their money!
