As the United States continues to experience unrest in many areas, I have taken the action to learn more about issues critical to us all! I am a member of a group called the Coalition for Racial Equity and Social Justice. This group provides a safe space for individuals to come together and engage in authentic conversations about racial inequity and social injustice, as well as education on Diversity, Equity and Injustice (DEI). The goal is to build awareness and understanding across our communities on important topics. One critical to everyone is education in our schools. 

I am inviting you to take action now, and join me in demanding that the education policies in Pennsylvania are written to teach factual events of the past. Support the efforts to insure that teachers have the legal right and protection, and the accurate materials and knowledge to teach black history, and minority history in our schools! Education is the most important way to make changes, and our students deserve to learn the truth about history.
