I'm a parent in the district. I have a sophomore and elementary school children. I know and understand how the government messaging has been confusing to both pro and against the mask members of the community. I also know how this virus can effect those who have no voice in the matter, our children. Particularly those under 12. No vaccine is available to them yet, no virtual education option either. I'm paying my taxes and believe my child and yours deserves to be protected at all costs and deserves the best educational opportunity he/she can get. With Governor Wolf taking the first step to mandate mask order in K-12 but the district is yet to act. September 7th is the effective date, but I fear they will fail to follow through. I love this community, I would do anything to protect all our kids. Please help me get this petition to the board and make sure the mask mandate is enacted.
