Alternate location for Penn Manor School Board meeting scheduled for 10/18/21
Carlton Rintz of the Penn Manor School Board adjourned the October 4, 2021 before the meeting even began due to masks being required inside on school grounds. Obviously meetings being cancelled is not in the best interest of our children.
It seems as though masks will be required going forward if the meetings are on school property. I have not found anywhere that states that they must be held on school property. With that in mind I believe we should stand together asking for the meeting to be held at an alternate location, either outside or in a church. If anyone has any appropriate locations for the meeting to be held, please speak up.
If we give the board options to be accommodating, and they are not accommodating, we then know where they stand. Now is the time to work together and not against each other!
I kindly ask you all to sign this petition, so that we can send this to the board and ask them to do what is right by our children and move the meeting location so that a “mandate” abiding meeting can be held civilly. Complaining on the internet about the 10/4 meeting does not change the meetings outcome, but we can try to make sure that same outcome does not happen again!
