Pedestrians that attempt to cross the Bayfront Connector to either leave or enter the  Our West Bayfront neighborhoods face speeding traffic and a pedestrian crossing sign that does nothing to ensure pedestrian safety. Additionally, drivers who attempt to turn left out of Cranberry on to the BFC face the same traffic, and must wait for more than several minutes to turn safely, or take a risk and turn into speeding traffic just to get through the stop sign in a reasonable amount of time. With the changes happening just down the road with Bayfront Parkway Project, putting a 3-way stop light at this intersection is very clearly wanted by the residents and needed for their safety, as well as very long overdue.
