Sian Griffiths-Harris started this petition to Pembrokeshire county Council/Saundersfoot village council

As a local i am very upset/angry at the fact the village council and Pembrokeshire County Council have allowed the removal of nearly all the street disabled bays and loading bay in the village. They have not allocated more disabled in either of the two car parks in the village. There are locals with health conditions that can't walk far and need these bays, we have a wheelchair vehicle big one tourney custom we need 3 meters behind it to get a wheel chair out, i can't do that in the carparks in saunderfoot as they is not enough room.  They have blocked these bays for 1 pub and 2 cafes on Cambrian Terrace and 1 cafe in The Stand. The bays infront of a cloths shop doesn't need the bays so let's have them back for blue badge holders and loading vehicles. Over the past week or so we have noticed the barriers have been pushed more into the road, making it difficult for the buses to manover around the corner by the silver lily shop (very nice shop), with all those bays gone and lorries needing to make deliveries and there's no where for them to park to deliver. We've been told its so holiday makers can que and walk off the road. Well they are still walking in the road.

The removal of bays im sure comes under the disability discrimination act.

Please sign, share and help get these bays back for locals and holidaying blue badge holders and delivery lorries.
