The houses are historically significant and would be better for the local community who live there to have their homes retained and improved instead of demolition and rebuilding. Houses built today are less spacious and will be designed in a way that will allow the developers to cram as many houses on to the site as possible, its happened in other areas where councils have used the "structural condition" of dwellings as an excuse for their demolition which wouldn't have happened if said councils had properly maintained their housing stock!

This estate is close to where I was born and I don't want to see the destruction of its close community for the sake of private profits. At the very least, they need to be securely rehoused.

The commodification of housing is damaging to everyone... Not just those living in home to be demolished!

Money talks! So mad at councils for even considering allowing developers to walk all over people. These are peoples homes!
