I'm signing because my child has been suffering through this, both physically and mentally. She had 2 serious infections immediately before and after Christmas break. I'm appalled with the lack of appropriate information surrounding the construction and how it's affecting students. As for asbestos, NO ONE should be in the school during its removal aside from certified personnel who remove it. This alone makes the lack of consideration and safety of the students and staff quite glaring.

I don't think it's fair that the youth at this school get sick from being subjected to a potentially unsafe environment. There has to be more that can be done to enhance public safety for everyone.

Students and staff need to be safe in the school. The work that needs to be done to the school should be done after hours not during school hours. No one should have to be walking on pins and needles during school hours with the work that needs to be done to the school. Stop the work to the school and do it after school hours.

This is preposturous. Every one should have the right to access education that is not a potential health hazard. As a woman with asthma it is unfathomable to me that those in authority who are supposed to be protecting our youth and not realizing how serious the development of chronic lung ailments can be. Let's not even get started on how dangerous thsse envrionments are on youth who already suffer from chronic lungs illnesses. This has to stop before an irreversible event occurs.
