Redneck Avenue is a highly transited street by both vehicles and individuals – children going to school, families going to Bailey Park, commuters going to the bus stop, etc. – but there is NO sidewalk. As such, Redneck Avenue is a dangerous street for pedestrians, especially considering the number of trucks that speed past daily.

It is also very dark at night with zero public lighting. 

However, there is room to create a pedestrian lane on both sides of Redneck Avenue without altering traffic flow or the number of lanes of traffic.
