I’m a mum in spray street and often have to cross glen Huntly. The amount of times I have to dash across with my pram and nearly getting hit by cars speeding down happens so often as there aren’t so many gaps with the traffic increasing throughout the day. VicRoads I know you looking into it but nothing has been done. It’s urgent before somebody gets killed. It’s a no brainer opposite 2 schools so many kids in the area and mum/dads and dogs.

I have grown up in the area ! My parents live on Glenhuntly Road and my children do walk along the canal a crossing would be a safe way for them to cross over this should have been done when I was a child !!

It is incredibly dangerous for the very many families with young children who cross this road every day whilst following the canal trail that runs either side of this road. The fact that two schools are adjacent to the canal means the numbers of children in the area are huge.

It's a really dangerous crossing as cars come in from the highway at quite a speed, and with so many kids in the area feels like just a matter of time before something terrible happens.

I want to be able to take my kids and new riders on a safe ride to the Bay trail. Street names where the path crosses roads would also help find your way.

Highly pedestrianised crossing.
