Exams at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University(PDPU) are just around the corner, and they have decided to go with the online proctored exams, which is a good thing. But the problem arises with the software which they have chosen. It is called Pexa EFH by LittleMore Innovation Labs. The software itself is a concern of security and privacy for the students. The Windows Firewall recognizes it as a lethal trojan for the system. Despite the company's claims about the software being completely safe and harmless, there have been several instances of entire systems crashing and not booting up after its installation. The second most important concern is its compatibility. You see, it is only compatible with the Windows platform when it comes to laptops. It is not available for iOS, macOS, iPadOS, or Linux. And even though it can be installed on an android device, it is not available on the Play Store, and that raises questions on the security and legitimacy of the software. Furthermore, whenever the students approached the authorities with their queries about the software, the plight of stable internet, and power cut problems, they received unsatisfactory answers from their side. Hopefully, this petition will help us turn things around for the better!
