The bushfires in Australia are unprecedented and many people want to help. They are doing so by donating to causes on Facebook to raise money for the front lines, impacted people and animals.

The problem is that Facebook and PayPal can take between 15 and 90 days to distribute funds that have been deducted from donors credit cards immediately.

Because of the urgency of this issue I’m asking Facebook and PayPal to make an exception for any non profits who are helping with the fires, to release the donated funds ASAP. Please help us use the millions donated to help efforts right now.
