Between April 2020, and October 2021, the DWP/Government decided to pay people claiming Universal Credit, £20 per week uplift to top up their benefits during the pandemic at the time they decided not to pay the £20 uplift to Legacy Benefits Claimants, i.e people claiming, ESA and Job Seekers Allowance, and Income Support, and PIP

4 people have taken the DWP/Government to court for discriminating against the disabled  and at the moment they're waiting for a decision from judge Justice Swift, to tell them whether everyone on Legacy Benefits, will be entitled to the uplift money which will be around £1500 per person but just in case it doesn't go the way of the legacy benefits claimants or it drags on much longer, I'd like to get as many people that claim legacy benefits or that think it's wrong not to pay them the same as universal credit claimants, to sign my petition which is going to be given to the, Minister For Work And Pensions, to show just how many people were affected by not getting any help from the government with the extra expenses due to the pandemic.
