Michael Akintola started this petition to Paxful.com and

Paxful.com is a well known exchange website which facilitates peer to peer buying and selling of bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. Since it's inception in 2015, it has been generally adopted as the go to marketplace for customers who want to buy or sell bitcoins in exchange for giftcards, PayPal money, cryptocurrencies and other forms of payment (https://paxful.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008914373-What-is-Paxful

In other to ensure a safe marketplace for willing traders, paxful.com ensures a strict compliance to their Terms of Service (ToS) and consequently enforce strong actions (such as freezing/ banning) on accounts that are deemed to be in violation of the ToS. However, strong actions against violating accounts are sometimes carried out with no appropriate investigations, while offering little or no support for such accounts (which more often than not contain significant user funds).

This has resulted in valid user accounts found in violation, getting frozen for days/ weeks/ months/ years (at paxful.com discretion) with no response whatsoever from the paxful.com support team to help users gain back access to their account/ legitimate funds inside the account. Consequentially, these activities from the paxful.com team has lead to unsuspecting users being thrown into debt or depression with no access to their funds and left with no option on how to recover their frozen accounts/funds.

Finally, this petition is made to alert the appropriate bodies to the unethical activities carried out by the paxful.com team on their users and, to hold the company responsible for their actions as regards to the illegal withholding of user funds.
