I have lived on Pope Farm rd in Stantonsburg, NC for 8 years now, and the road condition has continued to deteriorate grossly over the years. We have never received road work for it more than “hot patching” pot holes annually; which NEVER sticks and tends to just make the pot holes WORSE. The massive pot hole by the mill and Apple tree Rd has been patched several times and is still deep enough to rattle the teeth out of your head even at slow speeds. The end of the road where it meets Bullhead Rd, has sink holes forming (which they also just got patched) and has been the site of MULTIPLE city water line breaks, and they have yet to actually put ANY pavement over where they fixed the break! It’s a patch of rocks and dirt over one entire side of the road. Our rd is not just damaging to residents of it, it is also a main throughway from 58 coming from Wilson, headed to Goldsboro. If you are just as tired as I am of having to cringe every 5 feet while driving Pope Farm rd, please sign this so we can push the appropriate parties of Greene county to get it done!!
