The advertisements for the 2020 Georgia Senate Runoff elections have become too annoying and repetitive after an already long election season this year. Every Georgian knows that these elections are crucial to the balance of the U.S. Senate for either party, but the level of political advertisements at this time is unbearable. No reasonable person regardless of political affiliation legitimately wants to hear 5 political ads back to back. Now of course the candidates did not choose to have an election during the Holiday season but they have sure disrupted it. At a time many of us prepare to spend precious time with our families, relax after the unpredictable year we have had and reflect on our year we must have attack ad after attack ad drilled into our brains. Enough is enough. We ask that for just one solemn day, Christmas Day, the one day our nation is put on pause that you pause your political advertisements. Let us have peace. Let us forget the politics for one day and focus on what's important in life. Give us the political Winter Break we need and at 12:00 AM December 26th, you can bombard our phones and televisions with as many ads as you want. We call on Senator Kelly Loeffler, Senator David Perdue, Raphael Warnock, and Jon Ossoff to stop the political ads this Christmas. People are sick and tired of the politics join us and let us have peace this Christmas.
