VAT on fuel is 20% and 5% for gas and heating oil. 

Dear Mr Sunak, the easiest way to help the majority of UK voting citizens is to pause the VAT and fuel duty on Heating Oil, Gas, Petrol, Diesel and LPG. 
You have the power to do this immediately. 
We the UK public ask you to do this as a matter of urgency. Businesses are in desperate need of action. All the good work to keep the economy afloat during the severest COVID-19 lockdowns will be lost if you don’t do something about fuel costs.
