***ATTENTION: NEBO ROAD HOMEOWNERS & RESIDENTS OF PAULDING COUNTY**

Please sign this petition and share with friends, family and residents of Paulding County. Nebo road has heavy traffic and multiple wrecks a week. Since March of 2021 there has been over 120 accidents at the bill Carruth/Nebo intersection. 35 of them resulted in hospitalization. This area is not fit to hold another 250+ house neighborhood. This development will ruin many peoples current homes that have been residents of Paulding for 20+ years. The preliminary plans have not been approved yet and we are attending the commissioners meeting on January 11th to speak on the concerns regarding this new development. So there is still time.

If you're a homeowner on Nebo Road (between Bill Carruth and Hillcrest especially), or anywhere on Nebo and/or surrounding areas ... please be aware there is a plan to build a subdivision of 250+ homes with the entrance AND exit beginning on the location shown with this post. This was proposed back in 2006 and contained two entrance and exit points but fell through. The new developer is planning to break ground the second or third week of January. They are trying to grandfather in on the same proposal from 2006 without speaking to any of us. This will create an impossible traffic situation for those of us who own homes on or around Nebo. We are encouraging all neighbors to please attend The Commissioners Meeting at the new Courthouse on January 11 at 2:00 PM. Several of us will be speaking our concerns. We would most definitely like to see someone who has children attending our district schools to be there. If you would like to speak your concerns, contact Rebecca Meredith at 678-224-4012 today and ask to be put on the docket. If not, please be there for our support and our community. Thank you.
