The closure of the Camberley Drive post office has left some including the most vulnerable in the community to have a lack of facilities provided by PO LTD.

For many years, the Mackets Lane Estate had the services of a fully operational post office counter. The local area went through a period of re-generation with an old shopping district being demolished to make way for housing. A new retail offering was provided with the addition of a smaller, more modern Post Office. This unit was purpose built for the PO and now lies empty. Halewood residents are calling on Post Office Limited to re-open the branch to once again service the community.
