Create equal pay in New Zealand

A woman typically receives 12% less pay than their male counter parts for doing the same job with the same qualifications. There is no specific meaning for this 12% pay gap, as it consistently comes down to 'unexplained factors' as an excuse.

By signing this petition, you will be helping to fight against the 1972 Equal Pay Act and the 1993 Human Rights Act which say no matter the sex of the person, they should be paid the same for their work. This part of the act is not being properly enforced and signing this will give the chance to create an equal future for all.
