What has happened to the Art of Compromise?
Partisan bickering has led to our health care system languishing in inefficient limbo.
It is time to leave labels like Obamacare or Trumpcare behind.
Women, who make most health care decisions for their families, need to take a stand.
We demand that moderate legislators of all parties, at the federal and local levels, fulfill their job responsibilities by working together to improve our health care system. Each faction will never have their pure ideals met. Our legislators owe it to the American people to behave like adults and forge solutions, born of hard work and compromise, which improve health care.
We demand that the administrators at the Department of Health and Human Services, no matter which political party controls the executive branch, work to establish policies and regulations based on compromise legislation that make the health care system work efficiently, rather than intentionally hobbling the system so it will fail.
Our country’s health care system affects us all. Although we don’t agree on what constitutes a perfect system, we can agree to move ahead with compromise to better serve all Americans and not political parties or their financial backers. A healthy nation is a strong nation!
