Aircraft Carrier Month November 2016 will be a celebration of the accomplishments and contributions of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers, and the men and women who serve aboard them, in defending the freedom of the United States, protecting the security of our nation and our allies, responding to crises, and spurring technological innovation.

For more than 70 years, the U.S. Navy’s aircraft carrier has been the cornerstone of America’s ability to project its power and strength.
We believe that November 2016 should be designated as “U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier Month” to celebrate these great ships, the men and women who serve aboard them and their contribution to keeping the U.S safe.
In recognition of the U.S. Navy aircraft carriers’ contribution to our nation, we urge Congress and the President to support U.S. Representative Scott Peters’ (CA-52) House Congressional Resolution 776 designating November 2016 as “National U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier Month.”
