Ask West Somerset Railway to keep the Lineside Passes

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

It is the  WSR Board's intention to withdraw the issue of Lineside Passes with effect from 1 January 2018 and not reissue any in the future. A valid Lineside Pass passes are used by a great many serious and hobbyist photographers and videographers alike and  allow virtually unrestricted acess to the whole length of the line. A valid Lineside Pass opens up nearly all of the twenty three miles of the highly scenic West Somerset Railway, most of which is well away from public areas such as platforms and bridges and footpaths and the revenue helps maintain Britain's longest heritage railway.

This truly is a backward step which will result in a great many people who have invested in a WSR PTS and their pass not attending some of their main events in future. The attraction for many is getting that unsuual shot away from the public areas and is a big part of the allure of a pass especially during their main galas.

We are asking that you sign the petition to ask West Somerset Railway Plc to reconsider withdrawing these passes.
