As of today, February 4, 2020, thousands of American Citizens and lawful Permanent Residents remain trapped in Hubei, China.  The US government has seemingly abandoned them, leaving them exposed in the epicenter of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus outbreak.  This petition is to demand the immediate evacuation of all US Citizens and Permanent Residents from Hubei Province.  We need to bring them home for their safety.  It is the minimum of what the US Government should do for them.

The US Government evacuated all State Department personnel shortly after the outbreak, but left thousands of others behind.  This is cruel and un-American to leave anyone behind in an emergency situation.

This hits me especially close to home as my fiancee is one of hundreds of Permanent Residents that have been abandoned by the government which gladly accepts their taxes.  Wenlin traveled to see her family for the Lunar New Year and was quickly forbidden to travel out of Tianmen.  She has been in lockdown for two weeks and neither her nor her family have any symptoms of illness.  Wenlin and I planned to be married on February 29, 2020; though this is increasingly becoming more unlikely by the day.

I ask for your support in bringing our loved ones home.  Thousands of Americans and their loved ones will be eternally grateful for your support.
