Today, President Joe Biden issued what is almost certainly an unconstitutional executive order in which he is ordering private businesses of 100+ employees to mandate the COVID-19 vaccine. This is one of the most egregious, arbitrary, capricious, and tyrannical overreaches of power in my lifetime.

I made the decision to be vaccinated because data shows that COVID-19 vaccines are stopping hospitalizations and death, but they are not something the government should mandate. Mandates ignore science by disregarding natural immunity, it infringes on individuals’ liberty and it deters personal responsibility. Booster shots are already being pushed. This is a gateway to perpetual COVID and government overreach.

If you think government overreach into the private sector will stop at COVID-19 vaccinations, you are mistaken. Biden and Democrats are showing their hand with this executive order. Why only 100+ employees? If COVID-19 vaccination is paramount, why shouldn’t every individual at every place of employment be mandated to take the vaccine? This is a power grab. We must reject it.

We are a nation founded on liberty, on unalienable rights, and on personal responsibility. I stand with any business or worker who will reject this government overreach.
