I want roads to be safe for all road users including cyclists and for this to happen better road design is desperately needed to stop further injuries and fatalities, many of which involve HGV's.

On a daily basis I witness dangerous situations on the road that are ENTIRELY avoidable. I am frustrated that in 2015, we still have not managed to create a SUSTAINABLE infrastructre and attitude towards moving our bodies around the surface of the earth.

The UK needs to build travel infrastructure that addresses the big issues we face; obesity, congestion, global warming, cities where kids have nowhere safe to walk or cycle. Government needs to make it easier for people to make healthy, sustainable travel choices. That means segregated space for cycling & walking.

Cyclists will die if this is not implemented. They're already treated as second class road users by a lot of drivers, especially those with a schedule to keep, like HGV and buses.
