Wilmington says REPEAL HB2!

Wilmington says REPEAL HB2!
No! Wilmington is NOT this!
Wilmington area residents! New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender Counties! Please let our Governor know that Wilmington will NOT stand with discrimination and SIGN THIS PETITION!
Over 100 large companies/CEO have already expressed their concerns about HB2 and have asked the state to repeal the bill. SEE LETTER. Pay Pal has already bailed on its expansion which would have created 400+ jobs. Red Venture is reconsidering expansion in Charlotte as well.
Gov. Pat McCrory thinks that people will just get over it and move on with their lives. He thinks only a small percentage of North Carolina thinks HB2 is wrong.
Let's show him just how many people stand against HB2 in Wilmington alone and urge our General Assembly and Governor to repeal HB2 in the upcoming session!
Wilmington Mayor Bill Saffo shares his feelings about HB2 saying that Wilmington is a welcoming city, open to everyone. City Council will be sharing their concerns about this legislation with local lawmakers.
Wilmington City Councilman O'Grady "We accept everyone here, we do not discriminate, and certainly never would have supported a law that almost callously excluded a portion of the population."
Here's the bill that not only refuses to safeguard anyone based on their sexual orientation, but also strips away local government's rights to implement their own rules. It also takes away the right to sue over discrimination on the state level. And then make sure you read about the Wage and Hour Act. The bill is below. Give it a read yourself, so you know what this is all about.
