Stop cuts to lecturer's pensions at Goldsmiths.

This petition had 1,664 supporters

Lecturers at Goldsmiths College, University of London, are currently facing a change to their pension schemes that will see the average lecturer £10,000 worse off a year in their retirement. Meanwhile in 2015, Goldsmiths' Warden, Patrick Loughrey, accepted a pay-rise that saw him earn a massive £232,000, despite him already earning a six-figure salary. Lecturers may be forced into a month of strike action from 22nd February-19th March, sacrificing their own pay if the proposed changes are not cancelled. Sign this to put pressure on Mr Loughrey and Goldsmiths University to stop changes to lecturer's pension schemes.
Also worth noting, this is a problem for several London Universities at the moment and we support lecturers at those universities as well.
