D'Andre Campbell was a 26 year old man who was shot dead on April 26th, 2020 by a Peel Regional Police officer in Brampton, Ontario Canada. D'Andre Campbell had schizophrenia and called the police to be taken to the hospital. It had not been the first time that the police were called or the first time they had taken him to the hospital. A simple search of his name on a police database would show them his history of battling with schizophrenia. They shot Campbell and two bullets ended his life. Not only have they taken 2 months to release his body to his grieving family to bury him, but the SIU Investigators in charge of investigating cases of police brutality are now saying, that the police officer who killed Campbell has the right to not show his reports, not have an interview with the SIU and not even be named in the media. Without any information from him, the SIU will not be able to bring justice to D'Andre Campbell and his family. Please sign this petition to make sure that the police officer who shot D'Andre Campbell is charged!
