Americas High School Has been a closed campus for a good while. And while reasons to remain as such are present, students at Americas HS fell the need for change. We demand for our voices to be heard. We want to make Americas HS an open campus by the time the 2020-2021 year is upon us. Here, I present some benefits that will occur if our school becomes an open campus.

• Students will be able to chose their own diet that the school food options will not offer. 
• It encourages safe sex, as some students are not able to buy protection at any other time.
• It provides variety in what students can do during lunch.
• It allows students that are in walking distance from their house to go pick up assignments and/or homework they left at home
• It allows clubs to participate in more activities outside of campus

So, Blazers, lets show that WE can make a change.
