PATIENT RESCUE NSW - AUSTRALIAN PUBLIC HEALTH SYSTEM CLEAN UP - FIXING WHAT IS BROKEN

Patient Rescue NSW aim to shine the spotlight on all the issues faced when dealing with the public health system.
We need to put a stop to botched operations, poor treatment of patients and staff, wasteful spending, excessive parking rates and a multitude of other issues the people of Australia have been dealing with for years.
We need Action !
Patient Rescue NSW was born out of necessity. We all know someone that has had a bad experience with the public health system;
- Botched operations
- Cover ups
- Inadequate doctor/nurse to patient ratios
- Inadequate remuneration for nurses
- Stretched resources
- Hospital waiting times increasing
- Nepotism for senior roles, both clinical and administrative
Rather than have these bad experiences swept under the rug and kept behind closed doors we need people to SPEAK UP if things are to get better.
You Can Make a Difference
We are collecting personal accounts of people’s experiences in the Public Health system. We need your stories and signatures!
We understand that not everybody has a bad experience and that staff work hard in often difficult circumstances. But all too many times things go wrong.
If you have had a bad experience within the Australian Public Health System, or you work in the public health system yourself and have a story to share we want to hear from you.
We need you to tell us your story.
We are collecting this material in order to take action against the Department of Health and possibly even legal action into the future. We want to make Australia proud of our health system moving forward into the next decade.
You can join us on our mission to radically change the Health system. Help us help you, your families, friends and neighbors and all of Australia!
The founder of Patient Rescue NSW, Shane Bell, has previously rallied and set up the organisation 'Care for Us' This organisation went on to successfully bring about a 'royal commission in to child abuse' and have three director generals and two ministers removed from parliament during Bob Carr's term. Shane is also involved with 'FIRE FIGHTING IN RESISTANCE EQUALLY' another not for profit that is making a difference, United against all forms of oppression and exploitation, socially, culturally and environmentally
Shane recently underwent a botched hernia operation, he faced multiple issues and ended up having to spend $17,000 out of his own pocket to have the issues repaired due to the way the public health system handled and tried to cover up the mistakes made.
We feel there are many more stories like this that are not being told and unless people get out and share their stories things wont change.
What happens to the people that don't have the $17,000 to spend?
Since this terrible experience Shane along with his friends, family and the rest of the Australian people aim to have these serious issues faced by staff and patients documented and dealt with.
We need a parliamentary inquiry to have these matters properly looked in to, the first step is to get the backing and stories from your friends and families documented and petitions signed.
We aim to improve the public health system for patients. We all have with the welfare of the Australian people in our hands.
The hospital system needs to be fixed. Lets do it together!
HELP US HELP YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES TODAY BY DONATING, SIGNING THE PETITION AND SHARING WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES.
