This year backpacks are not allowed in classrooms at Pathfinder. Which is a completely unnecessary rule. With all of the school supplies the school and teachers require it makes it extremely difficult to not bring a backpack to class. Also, with people having to go to their locker in between every class period to get their  school supplies for the next class makes it nearly impossible to make it to the next class on time in just 5 minutes. Some people need certain things in their backpack to help them with personal needs. Students can do work from other classes with free time in class. And if they forget their paperwork in their locker it can be a pain to walk to your locker and get it. Students with diabetes maybe need certain snacks or drinks to help them. People with allergies need their epi-pen with them. It also makes it very convenient for the students and teachers to have all their school supplies handy in class. Without backpacks students will lose things way more frequently. The staff can help by talking with the school board and try and renegotiate this decision. So I made this petition to get backpacks back. And make the students and staffs lives easier at school.
